Eye sling hook HV is an end fitting for lifting and lashing chains. The latch-secured hook goes onto the load, while the eye connects to a chain or master link. It is used for lashing, tying down and lifting loads in workshops, on building sites and during installation work.
The eye type links to the chain through a link or coupler, so it replaces the clevis hook where the sling ends in an open ring. The forged alloy steel hook, grade 10 (G100) to EN 1677, comes in five sizes H06 to H16 for chain of 6 to 16 mm. The WLL is stated for each size: from 1.4 t to 10 t, weighing 0.29 to 3.74 kg each.
